Elon Musk and Jensen Huang Spotlight AI at America.gov Launch
Elon Musk and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang joined U.S. government and technology leaders in Washington for the launch of America.gov, a new AI-powered gateway designed to simplify access to federal information and services. The platform combines information from more than 29,000 government websites using AI-enhanced search.
America.gov puts generative AI directly between citizens and federal information, marking a significant expansion of AI within U.S. government services. The platform is intended to reduce the complexity of navigating thousands of separate agency websites.
The platform plans to expand beyond answering questions. By early 2027, America.gov says users should be able to complete forms, applications and renewals through the centralized service.
