Registered producers have processed over 48.2 million tonnes under responsibility frameworks.
Designing products for durability, reuse and recycling could reduce India’s dependence on raw materials while creating new markets for repair, recovery and sustainable manufacturing.
Government, industry and international participants will develop collaborations involving recycled materials, product redesign, artificial intelligence, traceability and organised dismantling networks.
